Verdict
Arms 31/20/0 is the source archive's PvP planning allocation: Mortal Strike supplies the 50% healing reduction, while Weaponmaster, Enrage, Improved Hamstring and Piercing Howl turn contact into sustained pressure. Fury 20/31/0 models the larger six-second window at 1,600 AP—5,164 before armor versus 4,862 for Arms—but gives up Mortal Strike. Neither allocation is a verified recommendation until its hotfixed prerequisite path is reproduced in client. Model assumption
| Context | Editorial tier | Practical reason |
|---|---|---|
| Battlegrounds | S+ | Mortal Strike, Intercept, Hamstring and Piercing Howl define target pressure. |
| World PvP | A | Strong with support; vulnerable to disciplined kiting when alone. |
| Duels | A | Favored into several melee matchups, but Frost Mage and Hunter remain difficult. |
| Coordinated 5v5 | S | Mortal Strike creates a win condition into multi-healer teams. |
Exact talent builds
Arms MS/Enrage — 31/20/0
The supplied allocation totals 31 Arms + 20 Fury = 51 points. Its mandatory spine is Improved Tactical Mastery 5/5, Anger Management 1/1, Deep Wounds 3/3, Two-Handed Weapon Specialization 3/3, Impale 2/2, Weaponmaster 5/5, Improved Hamstring 3/3, Mortal Strike 1/1, Cruelty 5/5, Piercing Howl 1/1 and Enrage 5/5. The remaining points in Deflection, Improved Rend, Improved Charge, Spearing Strike, Booming Voice, Unbridled Wrath and Blood Craze are flexible.
| Tree | Selected allocation | Role | Evidence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arms | 31 | Mortal Strike, weapon identity, roots and stance economy | Mixed confirmed/client evidence |
| Fury | 20 | Crit, rage flow, area slow and Enrage | Mixed confirmed/client evidence |
| Protection | 0 | — | Validated total |
Weaponmaster at 5/5 is recorded as +5% crit with axes/polearms, 15% armor ignored with maces/staves, or a 5% extra-attack chance with swords. Spearing Strike is a new mounted-target utility option. Prerequisite arrows were not machine-readable in the archive, so the final click path still requires an in-client check. Beta / Datamine
Fury pocket-healer build — 20/31/0
This alternative also totals 51 points. It reaches Bloodthirst through Cruelty, Unbridled Wrath, Piercing Howl, Blood Craze, Enrage, Improved Berserker Rage, Death Wish, Improved Intercept and Flurry. Its 20 Arms points retain Improved Tactical Mastery, Anger Management, Deep Wounds and Impale. Bloodthirst is modeled as 45% AP + 30 and grants movement speed rather than healing; Death Wish adds physical damage while increasing damage taken.
PvP kit and modeled output
| Tool | Reviewed value | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Mortal Strike rank 4 | Weapon damage +160; healing received reduced 50% for 10 sec | Classic reference |
| Charge / Intercept | 1-sec / 3-sec stun; Intercept 30 sec baseline, 20 sec talented | Classic reference |
| Berserker Rage | Fear and Incapacitate immunity for 10 sec; level 30 | Beta / Datamine |
| Victory Rush | 1 + 15% AP and 10% max-health heal after a kill | Confirmed Forever |
| Weaponmaster | Weapon-dependent crit, armor ignore or extra attack | Confirmed Forever |
| Execute rank 5 | 600 base plus rage conversion | Classic reference/model |
The talent tooltip in the archive shows Mortal Strike's learned talent spell at weapon +85, while the combat table uses max-rank Mortal Strike at weapon +160. These are different ranks, not a correction to the calculation.

At 1,600 AP, the supplied model totals 4,862 Arms and 5,164 Fury before armor. The Arms example comprises Mortal Strike 1,139, Overpower 953, Slam 1,082, white swings 1,517 and Deep Wounds 171. Against the model's 3,500 armor target, the Arms total is approximately 2,971. Fury includes Death Wish and totals Bloodthirst 1,270, Whirlwind 974, Heroic Strike 977, white swings 1,807 and Deep Wounds 136.

Rotation and control discipline
1. Charge, apply Hamstring, then establish Mortal Strike before spending into Overpower or Slam. 2. Preserve Intercept for the opponent's escape rather than stacking it immediately after another controlled stun. 3. Against casters, Pummel the cast that changes the exchange; do not spend it automatically on the first bar. 4. Use Execute with a deliberate rage threshold and convert a kill into Victory Rush when available.
Forever's full diminishing-return table was not published in the reviewed sources. The guide therefore uses the Classic 100% → 50% → 25% → immunity sequence as a planning baseline only. Charge and Intercept are assumed to share controlled-stun DR; coordinate them with allied stuns. Model assumption
Matchups
Races, gear and preparation
Orc, Undead, Human and Tauren are the leading modeled options, but all race tiers remain pre-season theory. Prioritize Stamina, the required hit budget, Strength/AP and crit. Axe or polearm is the cleanest Weaponmaster pairing in the reviewed build. Rank rewards, engineering tools and Classic consumables must still be confirmed individually on the live Forever service before they are presented as guaranteed availability.

What remains unverified
- The complete Forever DR map and whether every Incapacitate named by the tooltip is covered by Berserker Rage.
- Talent prerequisite edges not present in the archive's machine-readable inputs.
- Exact armor, resistance and latency conditions behind real launch combat.
- Availability and tuning of individual Classic engineering devices and consumables.
