Blizzard Opens a WoW Forever Stress Test

Blizzard published its World of Warcraft: Forever stress-test announcement on October 15 and later updated the event schedule to October 21. The event was framed as a focused infrastructure test, making the updated official page the source of record for its timing and participation instructions.

A stress-test build is not necessarily representative of launch balance or final content. Findings from such a client must remain labelled as observations unless Blizzard confirms them through notes or an official communication.

After the test

The event has passed, but retaining the original announcement provides useful provenance for build history. It also establishes which observations came from a test environment rather than the live release.
