Guldan left his birthplace in flames after killing even the village shaman who had shown him relative kindness. Guldan was born crippled, weak, and deformed in Gorgon, where constant mockery and abuse made him hate his clan. When others tried to beat him to death, the shaman stopped them, urged the throne of the elements. Guldan rejected him, and the chieftain banished him. When the chieftain said Guldan
could never return, he declared he had [music] no people, obliterated him with feel energy, and killed former brethren. Guldan went on a rampage, killing all his former brethren as the village burned.
At the burning village, Guldan thanked the shaman, killed him, took his staff and ring, and left the ruins forever.
