Summary
Tyrande is introduced as a chosen high priestess whose life stretches from childhood in Suramar to more than ten thousand years of command. After a pivotal role in the War of the Ancients, she became general of the Sentinels. During the Third War, she and Malfurion led the night elves against the Burning Legion at Mount Hyjal.
Chapter I
SURAMAR BEFORE THE WARS
Before the wars and the long command, the account places Tyrande in Suramar. She grew up beside the twins Malfurion and Illan Stormrage, sharing the woods, races, and lessons in hunting. The narration then moves sharply from childhood to responsibility: she became a chosen high priestess, played a pivotal role in the War of the Ancients, and afterward took command as general of the Sentinels.
Chapter II
TEN MILLENNIA ON WATCH
For more than ten thousand years, Tyrande protected Kalimdor during the Long Vigil. When the account reaches the Third War, that watch becomes open conflict: she and Malfurion led the night elves against the Burning Legion at Mount Hyjal.
Later, she handed the generalship to Shandris Feathermoon.
